Information:
How to make your image less than 200K.
- You need a 'thumbnail generator'. A thumbnail generator lowers the picture quality. This feature is needed to use less storage space and increase speed for images to appear for you and your customers. Most images you see on the Internet are less than 200K. Go Work Order capped the picture size at 200K per image.
- Most operating system software provide a thumbnail generator feature.
- Bob's Opinion: I use Microsoft XP and run my mouse over the picture I want to upload. The size of the picture is displayed. If the picture is too large I right click on the picture and select the thumbnail generator. I then look for the last picture in the folder I have open. This photo or image should now be under 150K in size. I also use a free thumbnail generator I found on the web located at www.fookes.com. Go Work Order has no affiliation with this site and suggests you use it at your own discretion.
Things to know:
- Photos and images appear on the Ticket Summary and Worksheet pages of a ticket.
- You may also add photos found on the Worksheet page as an attachment to all email.
- You can add a label to photos on the Worksheet page. This label is exported with the images in a zip file. (The label feature is only available for images needed as a result of user created forms added from the Sales page. Note: You can always add more images on the Worksheet page, but these do not include a label.)
-
Places to enter Photos:
- Worksheet page. (Remember to add a product or service form on the sales page. On the Custom Form Page you must have included an image selection for that form.)
- Contact/Customer page. When you create a customer you can add a photo for that customer. The design purpose is for you to add the picture of a tech to email you send out.
